At this year’s Property Management Association’s Apartment Community Excellence (PACE) Awards, Dweck Properties proved once again that our teams know how to deliver, bringing home three prestigious wins that showcase the exceptional work happening across our portfolio every single day.

Our competing communities swept their categories, with each team demonstrating the dedication, professionalism, and resident-first approach that define what it means to be a Dweckster.

The Park at Arlington Ridge earned Category Winner recognition in the Vintage Market Rate VA ($2,100 – $2,249) category. Property Manager Maggie Zarka reflects on what made this achievement so meaningful: “Receiving the PACE Award was a meaningful milestone for our entire team. We proudly showcased our community’s impressive curb appeal, and our team’s warm, professional welcome left a lasting impression on the judges.”

What truly validated the judges’ decision? During their visit, a resident stopped by and spoke highly of both the property and the team, further reinforcing the strong sense of community they’ve built. “She even mentioned that a friend of hers plans to visit and rent with us based solely on her glowing recommendation,” Maggie shares. “We’re proud of the dedication and teamwork that made this moment possible!”

Crystal Towers claimed Category Winner honors in the Vintage Market Rate VA ($2,700+) category – an achievement made even more remarkable given current property improvements underway at the community. Property Manager Sergi Cardoza explains: “What makes this achievement even more meaningful is that Crystal Towers is currently undergoing renovations to our apartment homes and hallway corridors. Even though the community wasn’t looking its best during this process, the judges still recognized our unwavering commitment to our residents and the quality of service we provide every day.”

During the awards ceremony, the presenters commended the Crystal Towers team for their strong sense of teamwork, hands-on training approach, emergency preparedness, and dedication to giving back to the community. “The award represents more than operational excellence; it reflects our culture of teamwork, service, and commitment to growth,” Sergi notes. “It’s a celebration of the passion and professionalism every member of our team brings to our community each day.”

Regional Manager Peter Brosnan adds insight into what made Crystal Towers stand out: “I think the judges really noticed and recognized the ‘well-oiled machine’ of the entire property team – how they interact, coordinate, and work together to keep that ship moving forward and provide an excellent customer experience for the residents.”

Crystal City Lofts rounded out Dweck’s impressive showing with a Judge’s Choice award in the Market Rate VA ($2,900 – $2,949) category, demonstrating excellence in one of the region’s most competitive rental markets.

Regional Manager Peter Brosnan reflects on what this recognition means: “It means validation for all of the hard work and effort that goes into this process across the board, and the teams take a lot of pride in the achievement, which means a lot as their leaders.”
